Important Notice

This website is an independent visitor guide operated as a GetYourGuide affiliate. It helps you compare and book boat hire, river cruises and paddling tours on the Yarra, but it does not own or operate any boat, cruise or tour. Each one is provided by its own operator, named on its page.

By booking through this site, you agree to these terms and to the terms of both GetYourGuide and the operator.

Bookings & Payment

  • All bookings are processed and fulfilled by GetYourGuide and the operator.
  • By completing a booking, you agree to GetYourGuide’s Terms & Conditions and the operator’s own conditions, including any card hold or bond it takes on the day.
  • Booking confirmations are issued by GetYourGuide.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation terms vary by listing. Each page states the terms the listing showed when it was checked. On this site most hires and tours cancel free up to 24 hours ahead; the brunch and dinner cruises need three days.

  • Free cancellation: a refund if you cancel within the listed timeframe.
  • No-shows: no refund.

To cancel or change a booking: contact GetYourGuide customer service using the details in your booking confirmation email.

Operator Responsibility

  • The operator (not this website) is responsible for:

    • Providing a safe, seaworthy boat and the safety equipment, including lifejackets
    • The safety briefing before a self-drive hire, and the crew or guides on a skippered cruise or a guided tour
    • Decisions to cancel, reschedule or shorten a trip for weather, river levels or safety
    • Passenger safety and insurance
    • Handling complaints or issues on the day

  • On a self-drive hire, you are in charge of the boat while you have it, and you must follow the operator’s briefing and Victoria’s boating rules, including the speed limits and the alcohol limits for the person driving.

Liability & Disclaimer

  • This website acts only as a booking referral platform. It is not liable for:

    • The quality or safety of a hire, cruise or tour, or the accuracy of an operator’s description
    • Personal injury, loss, or damage
    • Cancellations, delays, or changes made by operators
    • Disputes between customers and operators

  • Everyone takes part at their own risk and must follow the operator’s safety instructions.

  • The operator’s liability terms apply as stated in its booking conditions.

Intellectual Property

Listing descriptions, images, and prices are provided by GetYourGuide and the operators. All trademarks and content belong to their respective owners.

Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of this site means acceptance of the updated terms.
